Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe: planning of guidance and counseling, implementation of guidance and counseling also controlling of guidance and counseling. This research applied qualitative descriptive method. Technique in collecting data: interview, observation and documentation. There are three main components in analysis technique which have to be understood in each qualitative research, such as data reduction, data presentation and verification. The research result showed that planning of guidance and counseling is arranged by Guidance and Counseling Coordinator and assisted by Guidance and Counseling Teacher due to the curriculum which consist of personal guidance, social, learning, and carrier, and also its implementation is done classical, group, individual. Planning is arranged based on feasibility study, work plan, facility preparation, instrument preparation and coordination meeting. Implementation of guidance and counseling consist of personal aspect, social aspect, learning aspect and carrier aspect and technique of service in group and personally. Controlling of guidance and counseling is done by The Head Master such as orientation service, information service, placement service, learning service, individual service, group guidance service and personally counseling service.
