Abstract

An industry business activities operated by a bunch of small communities with limited capital ability. One of them, namely UMKM engaged in the production knew who were in Klaten experienced some problem in the production process. One of the problem is the printer know which tools are less efficient. Therefore, it is necessary the presence of research and repairs to fix with the draft printers more efficiently than ever before, to watch the production process can go smoothly and can meet the needs of consumers will be food made from soybeans that is out. Provide a draft of the new printers know that more efficient and productive by using the method of benchmarking. So that the design can be realized when tools printers know that more efficient and better than printers know that of the UMKM. The research produces tools with stainless steel, dimensions length 48 cm, width 46.40 cm high, 5 cm and a weight of 3.7 kg that can produce the cutting time for 47 seconds. This proves the cutting tool to know the proposals more efficiently than Clipper know in advance which takes 107 seconds Key words: cutting tools, Benchmarking, efficient Design Tools
