Abstract

Sub DAS Mungkung is one of the the central parts of the Bengawan Solo River Basin. Administratively the Mungkung Sub-watershed is located between 2 Regencies namely Sragen and Karanganyar Regencies. Flood events have occurred a long time ago and still continue to this day. This study uses Remote Sensing data, namely SPOT Image to determine land use. The objectives of this research are: (1) to find out the distribution of flood-prone locations in the Mungkung Sub-watershed, (2) to analyze the level of inundation of flood in the Mungkung Sub-watershed. The method used in this study is a field survey method with purposive sampling technique to complete remote sensing data related to land use and slope slope. The Geographic Information System is used to present data spatially, the variables are flooding, namely slope, land infiltration, rainfall, land use and data analysis using interpolation, scoring and weighting scenarios. This study was analyzed descriptively qualitative using landform approach The results of flood inundation modeling research with landform approach showed that the level of flood hazard was very high in the form of Alluvial Plain land with a percentage (8.39%), high vulnerability in the foot mountainous plains (2.79%), alluvial plains (45.88%) and the lower slopes of the mountains (1.67%), the vulnerability is on the upper slopes of the mountains (0.12%), the mountainous footlands (2.78%), alluvial plains (11.62%) and the lower slopes of the mountains (0, 93%), low vulnerability is in a separate hill (0.44%), mountain top slope (2.10%), mountainous foot plain (4.45%), alluvial plains (0.83%), and very low are in volcanic mountains (0.65%), separate hills (1.33%), mountain top slopes (1.89%) and mountainous foot plains (0.07%). The highest level of flood vulnerability is in the high classification with an area of 143.94 km2 (52%) located in Sragen Regency.
