Abstract

Abstract This study aims to (1) Describe the model of development of English interference teaching materials to Indonesian-based lexicon of electronic television communication. (2) Describes factors causing English interference to Indonesian based television-based communication lexicon. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data in this study is the set of words or phrases from English that exist on television electronic communication media .. Techniques of data collection using the method refer and record. The data analysis technique used is the method of matching. The technique used is basic technique and advanced technique .. The result of this research are (1) The interference development model presented in this research is the noun / noun phrase no 22 pieces, verbs / phrase verbs are 11 pieces, and adjectives / adjectives are 9 respectively. (2) Factors causing interference English to Indonesian language on television-based communication ie. (1) the limitations of Indonesian vocabulary, and (2) the habit of using English.
