Abstract

Land conversion is a change of land function into other uses caused by factors that largely include to meet the needs of an increasing number of people and the demand for a better quality of life. Another advantage of the conversion of agricultural land into industrial land is creating new jobs for the population in need so as to support the economy of the community, but the conversion of agricultural land into industrial land resulting in reduced agricultural land so that the production of rice will also decrease in the future so the Government must keep control of land conversion permits.
