Abstract

This study aims to describe socialization, constraints, and solutions to overcome obstacles in socializing the value of decency by using Role Playing combination Physical Self Assessment in Karang Taruna Pulorejo Village Year 2018 The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research. Sources of data in this study include Village Head, Head of RT, and members of Karang Taruna Pulorejo Village Winong Subdistrict Pati Regency. Data collection techniques in this study were experiments, observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of data validity in this research is tiangulasi data source and data collection technique. Data analysis techniques in this study using interactive techniques. The results showed that: 1) The socialization of courtesy value on the members of the youth team of Pulorejo Village, Winong Sub-district, Pati Regency was done by Role play combination of physical self assessment played by adapting the movie "Emak Ingin Naik Haji". The value of courtesy gained after performing role playing is that members of the youth act and behave in good manners to the elderly, do not speak loud and dirty, use good and correct language, and avoid themselves from inappropriate behavior. 2) Obstacles encountered, including family environmental factors, social friends, information media, and psychology and the mindset of adolescents. 3) Solutions to overcome obstacles in socializing the value of politeness that is reprimand, appeal by example, habituation attitude, and sanctions.
