Abstract

ABSTRACT Wahyu Gusti Anisih/ A410140186, CONTRIBUTION OF MATHEMATICAL COMMUNICATION ABILITY OF STUDENTS, MOTIVATION, AND LEARNING FACILITIES ON MATHEMATICAL LEARNING OUTCOMES IN CLASS VII STUDENTS OF SMP NEGERI 5 SURAKARTA ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018. Skripsi. Mathematics Education, the Faculty of Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. July, 2018 The results of learning mathematics can be modified from various factors from within or outside the students, in this study factors derived from students ie communication skills and learning from outside students is learning facilities. The purpose of the research, (1) examine the contribution of students' mathematical communication skills to mathematics learning outcomes, (2) learning motivation learning result of mathematics learning, (3) learning ability of learning result of mathematics learning, (4) students' mathematical student communication skill, . This type of research is based on quantitative approach. The study population was 251 class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Surakarta. The study sample of 154 students was determined by the Slovin formula. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling. Techniques collecting data used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression. The result of research, (1) students' mathematical communication ability significantly and significantly to mathematics learning result with (α = 5%) equal to 7.04%. (2) Learning motivation is also significant and significant to mathematics learning result with (α = 5%) equal to 7,26%. (3) Learning facility is significant to the learning result of mathematics with (α = 5%) equal to 7.7%. (4) The ability of mathematical communication, learning motivation, and learning facilities together and significant to the results of learning mathematics with (α = 5%) of 22%.
