Abstract

This study aims to analyze the burden and work posture on 8 workers in UKM Roti Berkah Sari during bread production process. Measurement of physical load for knowing cardiovascular load (CVL). Measurement of workload using NASA-Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) for knowing the weighted workload (WWL). Work posture measurement using Rapid Upper Limb Asessement (RULA) with CATIA V5R20 software. The benefits of this study to determine the physical and mental burden and posture analysis perceived by the workers, so that evaluation can be done. Based on the results of cardiovascular load (CVL) analysis to the worker, showing 29.27 which means that there is no fatigue classification, but it is on the upper limit of approaching value 30 with the category needed improvement. The measurement of weighted workload (WWL) got the average score of 50.13 which means the mental burden on the category is rather high. Rapid Upper Limb Asessement (RULA) measurement got the score from each activity at all work station. Proposal improvement that is adding desk and chai facilities chair as per requirement. Design proposal with solidwork software and CATIA V5R20 software.
