Abstract
Ischemic stroke is a the development local neurological deficits that occur suddenly because inadequate blood supply to the brain. Ischemic stroke occurs 88% and is the most common stroke. Improver handling of ischemic stroke patients will increase morbidity, mortality and higher maintenance costs. The purpose of this study was evaluated the appropriateness of the use of the drug antihypertensive and drug interactions incidence rate in acute ischemic stroke patients in Inpatient RSUD Batang 2016 period. Sampling method used was purposive sampling method. The inclusion criteria were acute ischemic stroke patients with or without companion diseases, antihypertensive therapy, medical record data complete with criteria: the identity of the patient, drug criteria and laboratory data. The exclusion were pregnent patients and died. The result of study indicated that ischemic stroke patients properties were age 56-65 years (34.09%), the most symptoms and complaints were used weak limbs (95.45%) and inability to talk (54.54%). The most common diesease was hypertension (59.09%) and drug used for therapy was amlodipine with doses 1 x 10 mg oral. Most drug combination were used amlodipin and acetosal. Evaluation drug accuracy were 98.33% precise drug, 93.33% precise dose, and drug interaction 76.66% pharmacodinamic interactions, and 13.33% pharmacokinetics interactions absorbtion phase, 6.66% metabolism phase, and 3.33% excretion phase.
