Abstract

The second hand electronics can be used as raw materials in metal recycling process. One of the raw materials of metal recycling process is the Shimizu Ps 126 Bit water pump machine. To simplify the recycling process, it is necessary to disassemble to separate metal and nonmetallic components. Petri-net diagrams can be used to determine the sequence in a disassembly process. Based on the petri-net diagram of the water pump machine, there are three sequences of disassembly. Thus, from the sequence of disassembly can be identified the complexity and accessibility of each component dismantling. From the index evaluation of complexity and accessibility, the most complex components are mechanical seals, water containers and side caps pump body. While the most difficult to access components are impeller, mechanical seal and rator cover. Based on the calculation of the index, the result of index of complexity 5,60978 in the three sequences and accessibility index of 7.53881 in each sequence. So it can be concluded that the three sequences are the same have the same level of complexity and accessibility as the water pump machine can not be disassembled sub-assembly resulting in the use of the same aids there are all three sequences.
