Abstract

ABSTRACT WORK STUDENT READINESS REVIEWED FROM INDUSTRIAL WORKING EXPERIENCE AND �CAREER GUIDANCE IN CLASS XI ACCOUNTING SMK BATIK 2 SURAKARTA ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018. Essay. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. July, 2018. The purpose of this research is to know 1) Influence of industrial work practice experience to readiness of student work. 2) The influence of career guidance on students' readiness. 3) The influence of industrial work experience and career guidance on the readiness of students in SMK Batik 2 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018. This is a quantitative research. The population in this study is the students of class XI Accounting in SMK Batik 2 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018 which amounted to 76 students and research sample are 63 students. Data were collected by questionnaire and documentation method. The prerequisite test of data analysis includes normality test, linearity test and multicolinearity test. Data analysis techniques used are multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, R2 test, and relative donation and effective contribution. The result of regression analysis obtained regression equation Y=13,534 + 0,571X1 + 0,193X2. The result concluded 1) The experience of industrial work practice has a significant effect on students' readiness. It is based on t test that tcount = 5,409 > ttable = 2,000 at 5% significance level with relative contribution of 92% and effective contribution of 32.56%. 2) Career guidance has a significant effect on students' readiness. It is based on t test that tcount = 2,378 > ttable = 2,000 at 5% significant level with relative donation of 8% and effective contribution 2,83%. 3) The experience of industrial work practices and career guidance together have a significant effect on students' readiness. It is based on the test f known that Fcount = 16,442 > Ftable = 3,150 at 5% significant level. 4) The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,354 indicates that the magnitude of the effect of industrial work experience and career guidance on the readiness of students is 35,4% while the rest is influenced by other variables.
