Abstract

Land use is the use of land by humans for they needs. The area of this study located in Depok, Sleman Regency. Depok has always experienced changes in land use, due to the increase in population from year to year. This study aims to determine changes in land use in Depok between 2007 and 2017 and analyze the distribution patterns of land use change in Depok between 2007 and 2017. The method used in this study is the survey method. The survey is used to match the land use changes that occur, so it can be done as a test of accuracy of Geoeye-1 image interpretation. The method of analysis uses overlay analysis using Geographic Information Systems. Analysis of patterns of distribution of land use changes using the Nearest Neighborhood Analyst method. The results showed that the types of land use in 2007 and 2017 were irrigated fields, settlements, grasses, water bodies, airports, shrubs, gardens, and moor. The results of this land use are obtained from the results of digitization with the classification of the Indonesian National Standard. Depok District land use changes in 2017 showed that the most prominent land use change was irrigated rice fields turned into settlements with an area of irrigated rice fields in 2007 which was 687.96 ha, while in 2017 it was 322.62 ha. The large number of population makes the need for shelter increase, this is what causes land use changes. The second result shows the distribution pattern of Depok Subdistrict land use changes in 2017 where the results of the Nearest Neighborhood Analyst ratio are obtained by clustering patterns. This distribution pattern tends to be in certain areas and this distribution pattern is spread in every village in Depok Subdistrict.
