Abstract

The purpose of the research was to increase the earliner reading ability through the Flannel board of the students at TK Kemiri06 ,Kebakkramat Karanganyar in the academic year of 2017/2018. The population of the research were 12, it consited of 4 male and 8 female students. The researcher uses Classroom Action Research method for this research. The researcher used Observation,documentation and Interview to collecting the data. This research also used two cycle. Every cycle include of two meetings. The following steps were the achievement. 1) The researcher prepared flannel board media with the items. 2) The students gave some examples how to knowi about 2 letters and words. 3) The researche gave some example on how to read the simple sentences, 4)the researche gave the students the occasion to see, to grope the letters and to remove or to paste the items. 5) The researcher more emphasize about introducing the letters that were still be difficult for the children. 6)The researcher Gave the greater opportunities to children who had problem and motivated them. The result of this research showed that board flannel media could be used for prasticing reading ability. It could be proved with the increasing score of the students in reading ability in every cycle, in pre-cycle actifon the average score was 46,77 %, and the first cycle was about 66,37% .The second cycle have average 87,28%. Those results have passed of success criteria make sure was 80%. Based on the analysis of the data, it could be concluded that through the flannel board media it could improve children’s early reading ability For children in TK Kemiri 06, Kebakkramat karanganyar.
