Abstract

This research having 2 the purpose (1) to identify the use of diction in relation to collocation in daily newspapers Solopos, and (2) to explain the functions of the use of diction in strengthening the contents of news at daily newspapers Solopos. The subject of study this is text news daily newspapers Solopos. Object this research is collocation diction your the contents of news at daily newspapers Solopos. Data to research this is the word, clause, a sentence containing diction/ the chosen word that strengthens the contents of news. Data source of the study this was a or files about information written in the text news. This research uses the method descriptive qualitative with the methods content analysis the contents of analysis. Data in this research in the form of written. Technique data collection in this study uses the method take a note. A kind of technique triangulation used in this research was triangulation the theory. Analysis techniques the data in were was used in the study a method of agih and techniques of never so much as read markah. Based on the results of this research the use of diction in relation to collocation of letters on a letter daily newspaper Solopos, found the large amounts of capital 10, and among the companies were the diction of who collocation with a feeling of, transportation, music, language, political, sport, education, work, cosmetics, art. Diction function as an amplifier the contents of news at daily newspapers Solopos there are two functions, (1) function strengthen and confirm and establish the contents of the official middle east news agency, found 4 a subject from his allegiance, and among the companies were the diction of that strengthens lusts that end in sorrow, prepare and strengthen and direct danger, has helped forge even closer hatred, a word of concern has helped forge even closer, (2) the function of the diction of in order to compare, found 11 a subject from his allegiance, and among the companies were the diction of who compares with the total number of, a genus of plants, the movement of goods/ the noun to which it, selections from mystic thing, the sound of, the body needs, organ of the body, a work, of an utterance, the act of/ deeds and devoutly praise them, animals.
