Abstract

This research is an effort writer to know service of guidance learn to children who have difficulty learn mathematics at SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta academic year 2017/2018 in overcoming student's mathematics learning difficulties, as well as to know the implementation of learning guidance services and factors that affect students have difficulty learning math. The subjects of the research were elementary school principal of Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta, fourth grade teacher of SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta, and 4 students of grade IV (A 2 and B 2 students) SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach, so the presence of researchers in the field is very important. The researcher acts directly as an instrument and as a collector of deep interview and observation data and is actively involved in the research. The data in the form of words were obtained from the informants, while the additional data were documents. Data analysis is done by reviewing existing data, then do data reduction, data presentation, and draw conclusion. Based on the results of research and data analysis can be obtained the results that the implementation of tutoring services in SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta is the average will be given the matter of training and cooperation with parents and assistance in supervision of actions undertaken by the school and teachers also use direct approach techniques to students. Factors that cause students have difficulty learning mathematics that is the factor of the environment, from the parents, and the factors of the students themselves, for that service of mathematics learning is necessary to make the students become better again. Implementation of learning guidance services conducted by SD Muhammadiyah 22 Sruni Surakarta in overcoming the difficulties of learning mathematics varies from the use of methods (training problems, habituation, pendektan directly with students) and the efforts (preventive, giving advice, healing) are different in each overcome student learning problems that occur.
