Abstract

Electric power has played an important role for the foundation of modern life. Currently, electricity demand has become a top priority for the community. Availability in sufficient quantity and quality is a requirement for a society that has a good standard of living and advanced industrial development. PT.PLN (Persero) has three levels in the distribution of electricity is the level of generation, the level of transmission and Distribution. With a considerable distance from the power station does not rule out the possibility of loss of power. Long distances, leaky insulators and corona factors cause the transmitting voltage and receiver voltage to be different then that is the main reason for power losses. Loss of energy needs to be predicted and analyzed so as not to exceed reasonable limits. Analysis conducted at high level of 150 KV from Bumiayu Substation to Racing Substation. The research method used is using manual calculation and current during peak load at 10.00 WIB and 19.00 WIB for one month continuously. This transmission line uses ASCR 240/40 mm2 wire mesh .. with channel length of 61 km. From the results of the analysis of fruits see the lowest power losses at 10.00 pm occurred on 28 January of 0.050766144 MW and the highest power losses that occurred on January 27 of 0.812258304 MW. For the highest power losses at 19.00 pm occurred on January 11th of 1.04570604 MW. The lowest loss-loss occurred on January 16th of 0.02629296 MW Total loss in January amounted to 319224,7979 kWh and total loss funds borne by the company PT.PLN (Persero) reached the value of Rp. 374.958.255,00.
