Abstract

In the United States that 200 million people worldwide experience problems in the urinary system reached 13 million, with 85% are women. The number of problems in the urinary system in women post partum spontaneous very important to note for health workers, especially nurses to provide a good and proper nursing. If there is inadequate nursing, there will be problems in the mother that will affect the baby's welfare. The purpose of this study was to obtain a picture of urinary system in spontaneous postpartum mothers in the first 24 hours. this research is a quantitative research with simple descriptive design. This research was conducted at Puskesmas Gajahan Surakarta in April-May 2018. The samples in this study were 16 respondents drawn using accidental sampling technique. The instrument of this study used the urinal system questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate analysis. The results showed that out of 16 respondents are 1 respondents who experienced problems in the urinary system is urinary retention problems. The conclusion of this study the majority of spontaneous postpartum mothers in the first 24 hours did not experience problems with the urinary system.
