Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) To know the contribution of peers to entrepreneurship efforts in the students of class XI Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 6 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018. 2) To know the contribution of local culture to entrepreneurship effort in class XI student of Vocational High School SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta year 2017/2018. 3) To know the contribution of peers and local culture to entrepreneurship efforts in the students of class XI Vocational High School Vocational School (SMK) 6 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018. This type of research is associative quantitative. Population in this research is student of SMK N 6 Surakarta with amount 184. Samples taken 76 respondents with proportional random sampling. Data obtained from documentation and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, R2, and relative donation and effective contribution. Based on result of data analysis obtained by equation of double linear regeresi as follows: Y = 7,9021+ 0,326X+ 0,525X2. The equation shows that entrepreneurship efforts are influenced by peers and local cultures. Based on the analysis and discussion concluded that: (1) There is influence of peers towards entrepreneurship efforts. This is based on result of double linear regression (t test) known that tcount > ttable that is 2,942> 1,993 and significance value <0,05 is 0,004 with relative contribution equal to 34,4% and effective contribution 25,5%. (2) There is influence of local culture to entrepreneurship effort. This is based on result of double linear regression (t test) known that tcount > ttable is 5,320> 1,993 and significance value <0,05 is 0.000 with relative contribution equal to 65,6% and effective contribution 48,6%. (3) There is influence of peers and local culture on entrepreneurship efforts. It is based on result of double linear regression (F test) known that Fcount > Ftable that is 104,311> 3,122 and significance value <0,05 is 0,000 with R2 obtained 0,741 mean 74,1%. Entrepreneurial Efforts are influenced by Peers and Local Cultures, while the remaining 25.9% is influenced by other variables that are not examined in the study.
