Abstract

Internet becomes a place for people to know all the developments. The Internet has an influence on language development. The entry of English through the internet media to be evidence of the development. Language development can be done through the integration process. Integration is done to minimize interference and increase vocabulary. Indonesian is a recipient language that receives a donor language from English. The purpose of this study is to describe the development design and factors causing the integration of English into Indonesian in the medium of internet communication. The type of research used is qualitative. The data used in this study is a word or sentence that contains the integration of English into Indonesian language in the medium of internet communication. This research uses the technique of referring and record in collecting data. Based on the data that has been studied the results of this study indicate that the process of language integration found in the media internet can be classified into two processes. The process is in the form of direct translation and conceptual translation. Each integrated vocabulary is done in three ways: adoption, adaptation, and translation. Factors that cause integration in the internet media is the progress of science and technology and its harmony with the language of recipes (Indonesia). Integration can be done gradually to enrich the language vocabulary of the recipient. Keywords: integration, internet, English, Indonesian.
