Abstract

Teacher is person who has an important role to developed critically thingking of students ability with the purpose incereased the succes of learners. The aim of this study was to determine capabilty of MAN 2 Surakarta biology teacher in developing critically thingking ability student X of Animalia 2017/2018. The research is qualitative descriptive. The sampling technique is puposive sampling study by observed biology teacher X in school. Based on the research that has been done shows that the aspect give simple clarification capabilty of teachers include good less (28,50%), give continue clarification is very good less (12,07%) and strategy tactics is very good less (1,19%). Therefore, based on the total average the capability MAN 2 Surakarta biology teacher in developed critically thingking ability student X of Animalia 2017/2018 at categorizied very good less (13,92%).
