Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1. Implementation of breakfast at school. 2. Student response to breakfast implementation. 3. Obstacles experienced by teachers in the implementation of breakfast. This research uses qualitative research, phenomenology research design, data collecting technique used interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis techniques. Validity of data used is triangulation of source and triangulation method. The results showed: 1. Implementation of breakfast at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah (MIM) Wirogunan Special Program held every Monday to Saturday at 09.00 pm during break time. 2. Student learning response after breakfast, that is, the students are very concerned about one hundred percent explanation of learning materials from teachers, but it also does not last long, only about thirty minutes to one hour. 3. Obstacles experienced by teachers when the implementation of breakfast is a factor of time that is less effective so that the next pelajran hours to be backward, the factor of the place is less because the new school building was established three years ago, environmental hygiene factors are less awake because there are still some students who throw garbage indiscriminate, and menu variation factors because of often overwhelmed and run out of ideas to determine the food menu that can meet the energy needs of students.
