Abstract

Foot drop is a deceptively simple name for a potentially complex problem. It can be defined as a significant weakness of ankle and toe dorsi flexion. The foot and ankle dorsi flexors include the tibialis anterior, the extensor hallucis longus (EHL), and the extensor digitorum longus (EDL). Knowing the benefits of providing electrical stimulation and strengthening exercise against drop foot cases. After 7th therapy, obtained the evaluation result that is increased muscle strength from MMT value 1 to 2. There was an increase in the scope of joint motion from the actives of T1 S = 00-00- 500 and T = 00- 00- 200 to T7 S = 50-00- 500 and T = 50- 00- 200. There was an increase in functional activity from FADI 96 to 107. Elextrical stimulation modalities and strengthening exercise can increasing the muscle strength, increased range of motion, and increase functional activity.
