Abstract

Moral position in human life occupies a very important place. If a person has good manners, it will make the person live happily, otherwise if someone is bad morals, then that person will live restless throughout his life. Every human being must have good morals, such as morals towards God, morals against parents, morals to society, morals to neighbors, morals to family, morals to the environment, and morals to self. The purpose of this study is to describe the morals of boarding school students and regular in MAN 2 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018 and to describe the presence or absence of differences and morality of boarding school students and regular in MAN 2 Surakarta. This type of research uses case study research model (Case Study). Case study is an intensive and detailed research that the subject of his research on individuals, groups, institutions, or community groups. Methods of data collection are observation, interview and documentation. The result of this research is that boarding school and regular students have similarities in morals to God, morals to family, morals to society, morals to neighbors, morals to parents, and morals to the universe. Student boarding school and regular also have differences in morals to yourself. The conclusion of this research is that majority of Boarding School students have been able to comply with school regulations well, while regular students still have some student who have not been able to obey the school rules well.
