Abstract
The sufferers of mental disorders have not fully got good behavior and meet the human rights needs of the government provide protection and guarantee mental health services for people with mental disorders based on human rights. Efforts to control the stock is a way of prevention, providing rehabilitation and health improvement in the field of psychiatry. Efforts to improve the welfare of patients with mental disorders are not only done to patients, but also to the surrounding environment, especially the family. This study aims to determine whether the Health Promotion can improve the quality of life of patients and social support families to increase penyasungan in klaten district. This research is a quantitative research using one-group design pre-post test design. The population of the study were 32 patients and family members of post-parent mental disorder patients in Klaten District. The sample of the study were 32 patients and family members determined using total sampling technique. The research data collection using questionnaire instrument, while data analysis using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The conclusion of the study is 4. There is a significant influence of health 2 promotion on the improvement of quality of life and social support in post-pasda patient in Klaten Regency.
