Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) to develop an android application as a learning media for eleventh grade of social science students, and 2) to learn the feasibility of the application based on validity by subject experts, media experts, mathematics learning practitioners (teachers), and students. The approach of this research is Research and Development that take the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model, this research only conducted up to the validations stages. The application validity is evaluated by 2 subject experts, 1 media expert, and 2 mathematics learning practitioners. The application developed are given to 34 students of eleventh grade social science three SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. The method of collecting data used are interview, documentation, and questionnaire, which is analyzed through descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The product of this research is an android applications. The result of this research shows that the feasibility of android application based on the expert evaluation are: 1) Subject Experts gave 4.67 average score, which is included into very feasible category, 2) Media Expert gave 4.27 average score, which is included into very feasible category, 3) Mathematics Learning Practitioners gave 4.46 average score, which is included into very feasible category, 4) student assessment shows of 4.06 average score, which goes into feasible category. The conclusion is the android application is very feasible as means mathematics learning media for eleventh grade of social science students.
