Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) To know the contribution of teacher's teaching style to the learning result of economic subjects on the students of class XI IPS SMA N 1 Gubug academic year 2017/2018. 2) To know the contribution of learning interest to the learning result of economic subjects on the students of class XI IPS SMA N 1 Gubug academic year 2017/2018. 3) To know the contribution of variation of teaching styles and interest in learning to the learning result of economic subjects on the students of class XI IPS SMA N 1 Gubug academic year 2017/2018. Required data obtained through questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and relative and effective contribution. The result of regression analysis obtained the regression line equation: Y = 37,146 + 0,277X1 + 0,450X2. The equations show that student learning outcomes contribute to the variation of teacher's teaching styles and interest in learning. The conclusions are: 1) Variation of teacher's teaching style has positive value of regression coefficient of 0,277, this means that the variable contribute positively and significantly to the result of study of economic subjects in student class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gubug academic year 2017/2018. It is also shown by the result of t test analysis obtained t count> ttable, that is 2,904> 2,021 and probability value <0,05, that is 0,005 with relative contribution equal to 29% and effective contribution equal to 14%. 2) Interest in learning has a positive regression coefficient of 0.450, this means that the variable contributes positively and significantly to the learning outcomes of economic subjects on the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gubug academic year 2017/2018. It is also shown by the result of t test analysis obtained t count> ttable, that is 5,313> 2,021 and probability value <0,05, that is 0.000 with relative contribution equal to 71% and effective contribution equal to 34,3%. 3) Variation of teacher's teaching style and interest in learning together contribute positively to the learning result of economic subjects on the students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gubug academic year 2017/2018. This is indicated by the results of F test analysis where obtained Fcount> Ftable, that is 26,663> 3,230 and significance value <0,05, that is 0.000. From the combination of the two variables above the total contribution of both variables is 48.3%, while the remaining 51.7% is influenced by other variables that are not studied.
