Abstract

This study aims to improve the results of class X student of Social Sciences 4 in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta academic year 2017/2018 on economic subjects through the learning method Quiz Team.This type of research is classroom action research conducted during two cycles. Subjects were teachers (actor) and a class X student of Social Sciences 4 in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta (receiver actions). The data collection techniques used include interviews, observation, testing, field notes, and documentation. To ensure the validity of data used triangulation (methods and data cources). Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes, namely 72 to 78,09 in the first cycle to 83,27 in the second cycle. Based on the research thatlearning method Quiz Team can improve student learnig outcomes on economic subjects in class X Social Sciences 4 in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta acdemic year 2017/2018.
