Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Influence the role of teachers in shaping students softskill skills; 2) Influence of organizational activity in shaping student's softskill ability; 3) Influence of teacher role and activeness to organize in forming student softskill ability. This research includes the type of associative quantitative research. The population of this study is the active student of the organization of class X, XI in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara Year Teaching 2017/2018 which amounted to 100 students consisting of 4 organizations. The sample was taken by drawing as many as 78 students with Proportional Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques used documentation and questionnaire techniques. Questionnaire previously tested with validity and reliability test. Data analysis techniques used are multiple liniear regression analysis, t test, F test, relative donation and effective contribution. The result of linear regression analysis obtained regression line equation Y = 4,091 + 0,327X1 + 0,611X2. Based on multiple liniear regression analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) The role of teacher has a significant influence in shaping student's softskill ability in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara of academic year 2017/2018. Based on t test, tcount> ttable is 7,199> 1,992 at significance level> 0,05 is 0,051 with relative contribution 32% and effective contribution 27,9%. 2) Organizational activity has significant influence in shaping student's softskill ability in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara of academic year 2017/2018. Based on t test obtained t count> ttable is 7,016> 1,992 at significance level> 0,05 that is 0,208 with relative contribution 68% and effective contribution 59,4%. 3) The role of teachers and activeness of organizing together significantly influence in shaping the ability of student's softskill in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Klaten Utara of academic year 2017/2018. Based on F test it is known that Fcount> Ftable is 257,259> 3,119 at 5% significance level. 4) From the calculation results obtained value R2 = 0.873. The value of R2 indicating that 87.3% change / variation of Y variable (Softtsil ability) is due to the change / variation of X variable (Teacher Role and Activity of Organization) while the remaining 12.7% is due to change of other variables.
