Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of (1) the use of learning quantum learning model with the method of make a match to the cognitive students in learning mathematics class V SDN 1 Sawahan; (2) the use of quantum learning model with make a match method on student's learning motivation on learning mathematics class V SDN 1 Sawahan; (3) the use of learning quantum learning model with make a match method toward cognitive and student learning motivation on learning mathematics class V SDN 1 Sawahan. This type of research is quantitative research, with experimental research design. This research uses data collection techniques with observation techniques, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The experimental class is a class that is given treatment in the form of learning by using the learning model of quantum learning with the method of learning make a match that will be reviewed from cognitive and student learning motivation. The material used is the sum and subtraction of different denominator numbers. Hypothesis testing used two different mean test by using Z test and one way manova. The result of the calculation which for the first Z test is the value Z_count = 2.46 for Z_table with significant level 0.05 obtained 1.645, because〖 Z〗_count > Z_table then H_0 rejected. While the result for the second Z test is the value Z_count = 2.36 for Z_table with significant level 0.05 obtained 1.64, because Z_count > Z_table then H_0 rejected. As for one way manova obtained 〖sig〗_count=0,019, because 〖sig〗_count<〖sig〗_table then H_0 rejected. So that obtained the conclusion (1) there is influence of the use of learning model of quantum learning with make a match method to the cognitive ability of students of grade V SDN 1 Sawahan; (2) there is influence of using learning model of quantum learning with make a match method toward motivation of learning mathematics of V student of SDN 1 Sawahan; (3) there is a correlation between learning motivation with students' cognitive abilities of grade V SDN 1 Sawahan in the use of quantum learning model with make a match method.
