Abstract

Many people who use android making it easier to perform daily activities. Infrared therapy devices that have been circulating in the market have many shortcomings one of them is a lot of lay people who do not know how to use the right. Infrared therapy devices that use android controls can display correct usage instructions according to the procedure. This therapy tool is equipped with a proximity sensor and timer in accordance with the needs by using arduino that can be integrated with android connected with bluetooth device. Arduino will turn on and off the infrared lights that are connected to the relay and used as actuators for readings from the proximity sensor. Distance sensor used is ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 will measure the predetermined distance that is <40 cm distance too close, 40-80 cm normal distance,> 80 cm distance too far. The time that will be required is determined in the form of options that will be displayed on android that is 10,15,20,25,30 minutes. At a distance that is too close and too far infrared lights can not be operated. Distance and time-setting sensors are used to reduce the level of negligence in the use of infrared therapeutic devices that blow the blistering skin.
