Abstract

The purpose of this study there are two. 1) describe the design of word development models that experience English interference to the Indonesian language in mobile-based electronic communication media. 2) to describe the factors causing English interference to Indonesian in electronic media based on mobile phone. This research is included in qualitative research. The strategy used in this research is phenomenology approach. The object of this research is the development of words that have interference English to the Indonesian language in mobile-based communication media. The data in this study are words, phrases, sentences, and paragraphs that contain English to Indonesian interference in the display screen of the Samsung Galaxy Prime mobile phone application. Sources of data in this research is the screen display of Samsung Galaxy Prime application. Data collection techniques in this study is the method refer and note. The appropriate triangulation to test the validity of the data in this study is triangulation theory. Technique of data analysis in this research with method of padan. The method of the method used in this study is the referenceal subclass. The results of this study found that the design of word development model that experienced interference tailored to the pronunciation of Indonesian society and the rules of the Indonesian language. There are 3 factors causing interference. 1) not the appearance of the Indonesian language in the display screen even though the language settings in mobile phones already use the Indonesian language. 2) the progress of Science and Technology. 3) inadequate recipient language in the face of progress and renewal.
