Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the inventoryof Cyathea sp. whichis located in the Tourist Area of Waterfall Jumog in the Village Ngargoyoso Districts Karanganyar District of Central Java Province. The data collection method used is the exploration method of data retrieval without plot by using GPS to determine station and point of existence of species. The research result show the growth of Cyathea sp. in the Tourist Area of Waterfall Jumog in the Village Ngargoyoso Districts Karanganyar District of Central Java Province are influenced by two factors, namely external factors and internal factors. External factors such as the humidity environment, humidity air, soil Ph, and altitude land. Based on measurement result at the time of the research, the result of good environmental temperature for the grow Cyathea sp. is the range of 25 - 26 ᵒC, air humidity with range 70-74 %, soil Ph moisture 5,5-6,5 %, and altitudes with the range 980-1480 m dpL. The research data obtained successfully identified as much as 2 species of 1 family Cyatheaceae are Cyathea contaminans and Cyathea arborea.
