Abstract

ANXIETY DESCRIPTION IN MOTHER'S PREGNANT WOMEN Abstract Introduction: Pregnancy for primigravida (first pregnancy of mother) is the first experienceof mother her period of life. In that situation ca lead to drastic changes not just physically but also psychologically. The incidence number of anxiety in pregnant women in Indonesia reached 373.000.000, which is 28.7% or 107,000,000 of them experience anxiety in their labour process. Anxiety in pregnancy would give bad impact that stimulates uterine contractions. This conditions could lead to miscarriage and increased blood pressure that cause preeclampsia. Purpose: This research is to describe about the anxiety level of Primigravida during their pregnancy. Research Method: This research use descriptive analysis with cross sectional approach. The population are all primigravida in Puskesmas Grabag 2 Magelang area, total 71 mothers in February 2018taken by total sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaire and analyzed with central tendency technique. Research Findings:Respondents with mild anxiety showed 85%, moderate anxiety showed 14%, and 1% for severe anxiety.Conclusion:primigavida’sanxiety caused by some factors such as age, trimester, education, and primigravida’s job.
