Abstract

The purposes of research, (1) examine the contribution of creativity and activeness of organization on mathematics learning outcomes indirectly through critical thinking skills, (2) examine the contribution of creativity and activeness of organization on critical thinking skills, and (3) examine the contribution of critical thinking skills on learning outcomes in mathematics. This type of research is based on a quantitative approach. The study population 159 ten grade students of SMK N 9 Surakarta. The research sample 113 students is determined by the formula slovin. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The data collection technique with questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results of the study, (1) The creativity and activeness of organization with (α = 5%) contribute simultaneously to the results of learning mathematics through critical thinking skills of 32,1%. Partially, creativity does not contribute directly to the learning outcomes of mathematics by 0,96% and indirectly through critical thinking skills does not contribute results of learning mathematics. The activeness of organization does not contribute directly to the learning outcomes of mathematics by 0,35% and indirectly through critical thinking skills does not contribute. (2) The creativity and activeness of organization with (α = 5%) contribute simultaneously to critical thinking skills of 14,0%. Partially, the creativity that directly affect the critical thinking skills of 12,32%. The activeness of organization which directly affect the critical thinking skills of 0,2704%. (3) The critical thinking skills with (α = 5%) contributes to the learning outcomes of mathematics by 30,47%.
