Abstract

The study of the use of prepositions in the student narrative textbook aims to (1) describe the use of the preposition level used in the narrative text of the seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Pangkalpinang, (2) Describe the use of prepositions in the narrative text of the seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah Pangkalpinang. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data obtained is a narrative text of students of class VII SMP Muhammadiyah Pangkalpinang. The result of this research is found the use and error of preposition. There are 19 prepositions in, 10 prepositions to, 3 prepositions of, 4 prepositions on, and 3 prepositions by.
