Abstract

ABSTRACT Liga Fitria Putri/A410140191. CONTRIBUTIONS TIME MANAGEMENT, MOTIVATION, AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT TO INDEPENDENCE AND IT’S IMPACT ON STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES MATHEMATICS SMP NEGERI 5 SURAKARTA YEAR 2017/2018. Skripsi. Mathematics Education, the Faculty of Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. January, 2018. The purpose of research, (1) examine the contribution of the allocation of time, motivation, and learning environment to the learning outcomes of mathematics indirectly through student independence, (2) examine the contribution of the allocation of time, motivation and learning environment of the students' independence, and (3) examine the contribution independence of students to mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is based on a quantitative approach. The study population 251 seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Surakarta. The research sample 154 seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Surakarta using the formula solvin. Data retrieval technique with questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results of the study, (1) Allocation of time to learn, motivation to learn, the learning environment contribute simultaneously to the mathematics learning outcomes through self-reliance with (α = 0.05). So that the partial allocation of study time does not contribute to the significance of the learning outcomes of mathematics and indirectly contributes positively through independence. Motivation to learn not contribute to the significance of the learning outcomes of mathematics and indirectly contributes positively through independence. Learning environment does not contribute to the significance both directly and indirectly through the independence of the mathematics learning outcomes. (2) The allocation of time to learn, motivation to learn, the learning environment contribute simultaneously to the mathematics learning outcomes through self-reliance with (α = 0.05). Partially, the allocation of time to learn that directly affect the independence of 0,21%. Motivation to learn that directly affect the independence of 0,09%. learning environment that directly affect the independence of 20,34%. (3) independence contributes to the learning outcomes of mathematics at 82,8% (α = 0.05).
