Abstract

National films are growing along with technological developments. Legal protection for national film consumer is governed by the laws and regulations that the national Film that is broadcasted should not be contradictory to Law Number 8 Year 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, Act No. 33 of 2009 on Film and Government Regulation Number 18 of 2014 about Film Censorship Institution. National films has a goal to noble morality, the realization of the nation's intelligence, maintaining the unity and unity of the nation, increasing the dignity and dignity of the nation, the development and preservation of the nation's cultural values, the recognition of national culture by the international community, the increase of the people's welfare. Each national film must first censor the film before it is aired for the purpose of the film to be achieved.
