Abstract
The purpose of this research is 1) to know the implementation of talaqqi method, 2) to know the advantages and disadvantages of placement of talaqqi method, 3) the teacher’s effort to overcome disadvantages from implementation of talaqqi method in MI Muhammadiyah Special Program Kenteng. This type of research is qualitative descriptive by using three analysis that is data reduction, data presentation andconclusion. The method used in this research is the method of observation, interview and documentation. The result of the research indicate that 1) Madrasah has implementation of talaqqi method is juz 29,30 will recite the Qur’an verses that will be memorized, then the students listen carefully what read by the teacher, then the students imitate the reading and repeat it untul memorized. This program is implemented every day except on Friday with time allocation (2 x 35 minutes), 2) Show that by using talaqqi method, students can read and memorize Qur’an on juz 29 and 30 with attention to the rules of science of tajwid, 3) Efforts made by teachers in overcoming the weaknesses of talaqqi method is to examine the reading, control the development of memorization o students listened one by one, come to the desk students who still have difficulty in memorizing, and by forming homogeneous classes tailored to the level of memory ability of students.
