Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of organizational advertising on employee job satisfaction. Subjects in this research are employees of PT. Sri Rejeki Isman in garment division of 300 people. Sampling technique is purposive sampling involving 90 samples. Data collection in this study uses questionnaire technique filled by respondents. There are 2 kinds of measuring instrument used to reveal research variables (1) organizational climate scale, and (2) job satisfaction scale. Data analysis in this study applies product moment correlation. Based on the results of the analysis, the researcher obtains results which indicate that the organizational climate significantly affect job satisfaction with the correlation coefficient of 0.576 or have the effect of (0.576 x 0.576 = 0.332 or 33.2%). This indicates that the organizational climate variable gives a big influence on job satisfaction. Based on the calculation of regression statistical test results, it is obtained that t count of 6.608 which is larger than t table of 1.984 for alpha 0.05, then H rejected. This means that there is influence of organizational climate variable on job satisfaction. The effect is 33.2%. This means that the organizational climate if it stands alone has a direct and significant impact on employment satisfaction of 33.2% while the rests are influenced by other factors.
