Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, levies and poverty on economic growth in the city of Surakarta in 2000-2014. The data used in this study is time series data taken from the city of Surakarta as its population. This research is quantitative with data taken from the central statistical agency of Surakarta City from various publications year 2000-2014. The data used include inflation data, regional retribution, poverty and economic growth. This study used multiple regresil analytical tools with Classical Normal Linear Regression Model (CNLRM) method. The results showed that the inflation variable did not have a significant influence on the growth of economics in Surakarta City, while the variable Levy Area and poverty have a significant influence on the economic growth in Surakarta City indicated.
