Abstract

Public company are companies whose shares are owned by the public through the stock market. This study aims to determine the effect of corporate governance, firm size and leverage on earnings management in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013-2015. The population used in this study are all banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013-2015. This research uses purposive sampling technique with predetermined criteria. The number of samples used are 56 companies. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that only independent board of commissioners variables that affect earnings management.
