Abstract

Introduction : Based on preliminary survey of 32 students of Totosari 1 Primary School, it was found that the habit of consuming milk with rare percentage was 84.4% and in children of Tunggulsari 1 Elementary School was 83.3%, the percentage of short and very short (17.7%) children in Totosari 1 and Tunggulsari 1 Elementary School is lower than the percentage of 21.2% stunting in Surakarta, but it did not include public health problems (> 20%), but if not addressed it would cause negative effects such as cognitive impairment and growth disturbance upon entering puberty. Research Method : This research is an observational with cross sectional design. Sampling technique used Stratified random sampling with the number of samples as 74 people. Data on consumption habits of milk was obtained through the Semi-Quantitative FFQ Form in the past week, calcium and zinc intake was obtained through recall 6x24 hours not consecutively, height was measured using microtoise and analyzed using WHO Anthro Plus. Analyses of correlation test used correlation test of Rank Spearman. Result : Based on the result of research that was processed with SPSS V.16, there was not significant relationship between milk consumption habit (p = 0,422), calcium intake (p = 0,324) and zinc intake (p = 0,428) with height. Conclusion : There is no related between consumption habits of milk, calcium and zinc intake with primary school children's height
