Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe 1) the preparation of Social Science curriculum; 2) preparation of integrated Social Science teachers; 3) implementation of integrated Social sciences learning; 4) evaluation of the implementation of integrated Social Sciences learning. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive qualitative. Place of study in MTs Negeri Bekonang. The informants involved in this research are principal, deputy head curriculum, and teacher of class VII of MTs Negeri Bekonang. Technique of collecting data by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study using anaisis model of data collection, data reduction and presentation of data and conclusions. The validity of the data in this study with triangulation. The results show that 1) The process of curriculum preparation is done by prioritizing the special characteristics based on the vision of the madrasah mission by involving the coordination of the Principal, the Teacher in question and the deliberations of subject teachers 2) The preparation of the teacher must have academic and competent qualifications in the subjects that are taught in accordance with the educational background of social sciences and improve the qualifications of academic and non academic competence obtained through workshop or training activities tailored to the special characteristics of madrasah; 3) Implementation of learning implemented that includes learning objectives, learning materials, learning methods, learning media and evaluation of learning is done in the classroom and outside, 4) Evaluation of learning implementation done in order to know the readiness of curriculum, readiness of teachers and learning components that have been planned realization already meet expectations in accordance with the intended purpose.
