Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of government expenditure, education and investment on employment in Central Java. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series with the observation period 1987-2016. Data obtained from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) and Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah (Bappeda). Data analysis using Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) being estimated by the program E-Views. The results showed that the short and long term government expenditure have positive effect and significant to employment in Central Java. While education and investment in the short and long term isn’t influence significantly on employment in Central Java.
