Abstract

This study aims to determine: first, career planning prepared by class XI students accounting SMK N 1 Banyudono. Second, know what are the factors that affect career planning of class XI students accounting majors SMK N 1 Banyudono. This type of research is qualitative with ethnographic approach. The object of this research is the Class XI Students Accounting Department SMK N 1 Banyudono, Accounting Teacher, and the World of Work which include Principal SMK N 1 Banyudono, Operational Leader Rosalia Express, Chairman of PNPM Kecamatan Karangpandan. The competency profile of class XI students of accounting department SMK N 1 Banyudono is divided into 12 criteria that is based on high value follow organization, high value not follow organization, value is following organization, medium value not follow organization, low value follow organization, low value not follow organization . The results of this study indicate that 9 students have planned their career planning, five students want to continue their study, three students want to continue their study and work, one student wants to be soldier, while three other students have not determined career plan. The factors that influence students class XI accounting SMK N 1 Banyudono in planning career there are 4 things, including family, environment, desire and ability yourself, and competitors of the world of work.
