Abstract

RSUD DR. R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo is a local public hospital in Purwodadi Grobogan. Every day the hospital provides food with manual ordering system. Every day the nurses come spatial patient hospitalization, record the data kemudiaan data is sent to the office of nutrition. This nutrition office is responsible for receiving patient order data, recording it, and then making the recapitulation based on order data. This poses a problem because the use of paper to record patient data in every room of course is too much, not to mention the distance of office and nutrition office far apart and the process of recapitulation of data that takes a long time. Based on the problems made a desktop-based food ordering application that could be an alternative for a nurse and nutritional staff in the patient's food ordering activities every day. The method used in this research is waterfall.This application is created using Visual Basic .net programming language and SQL Server database. Desktop-based food ordering app in RSUD DR.R. Soedjati Soemodiardjo Purwodadi was tested using black box method and gave a statement in form of questionnaire to admin, nurse, and staff as user of application.This app has a feature of ordering food, order recapitulation, change background application, and database connection settings.The result of the co-enactment is carried out that the system is feasible to use with an average Percentage Interpretation of 76%.
