Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' mathematical creative thinking ability through Scientific approach based on Numbered Heads Together in class VIIA SMPN 2 Mojolaban Gas Semester Year 2017/2018. The type of research used is classroom action research. Data collection techniques use observation sheets, tests, field note sheets, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The result of the research shows that there is an improvement of creative thinking ability with the indicators: 1) students ability to solve problems and give many answers before there are action as many as 10 people (31,25%), in cycle I 18 person (60%), and in cycle II 25 people (83.3%). 2) Students' ability to use various problem solving strategy as many as 8 people (25%), in cycle I 12 people (40%), and on cycle II 20 people (66.67%). 3) Students' ability to present the answers in front of the class as many as 5 people (15.625%), on the cycle I 8 people (26.67%), and in cycle II 16 people (53.3%).
