Abstract

White glutinous rice is a high carbohydrate content of 79.40 in every 100 g of rice, so it can be a source of nutrients for the gowth of mycelium mushrooms. This study aims to determine growth of oyster mushroom and straw mycelium. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative with experimental research design. The research design using Randomized Complete Design (RAL) with factorial pattern consisted of two treatment factors, namely F1: white sticky rice media consisting of extract, porridge and flour and F2: oyster mushroom and mushroom. The results showed that the speed of the mycelium plant gowth of F0 seeds for the fastest oyster mushroom was on the flour medium (J1M3) that was 3.65 cm and the late one was the extract medium (J1M1) which was 2.05 cm. While the gowth speed of mycelium seeds of F0 mushroom is fastest in medium extract (J2M1) that is 4,52 cm and the late is medium of flour (J2M3) that is 0,32 cm. Mycelium seeds F0 oyster mushroom compact white and medium thick on mushrooms are not compact but also thick. The highest carbohydrate content is white sticky starch of (46.03%), then white glutinous rice (16.19%) and white glutinous rice extract (2.94%).
