Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of clauses contained in lodging agreements in Surakarta and to know the strength of binding clauses contained in lodging agreements in Surakarta.The research method uses legal research methods with a normative doctrinal approach. The type of research used is descriptive. Form and type of data in the form of secondary data and primary data.Methods of data collection through literature study and interviews then data were analyzed using deductive analysis.The results showed that there is a standard clause which is an exoneration clause and not a standard clause in lodging agreement in Surakarta.There are 4 (four) forms of exoneration clauses in the lodging agreement.The clauses contained in the lodging agreement examined have binding strength for parties both for signed and non-signed lodging agreements.
