Abstract

The backround of this study is the importane of internalizing the valves of islamic for children with spesial need. No exception the retarted children who have mental disabilities. These limitations do not become a barrier for children with intellectual challenges in trems of education. In fact, teacing children with intellectual challenges can not be equated with normal children in general. Issues this will be discussed in the present study is internalizing the velves of islam for children with special need in terapi mutiara center jamsaren surakarta. The focuses of the research is an to know the internalizing the valves of the islamic for children with special need and implementation of internalizing the valves of islamic for children with special need. This the importent becouse seeing the problems faced by children with intellectual challenges in the learning process. They experienced difficulties for they have below avarage intelligence, so that the retarded child in the learning process requires a special approach. This research is a field research where is activities carried out in a particular community by visiting the school. The methods used gethering date are observation, documentation, and indepth interview. While the method of data analysis is done in a descriptive way, that disclosureof the circumstances as they are. From the result of this study it is internalizing of valves of the islamic children with special need have steping for implemtation of internalizing the velves. In addition, teachers in presenting material to student use easily understandable language for learners and deliver repeaatedy until student realy understand the material presented by the teacher, then the teacher should be able to create a classroom armosphere to entertain the student and make student comfortable. The result of the study Islamic education shoe their positive impact for children with special need is intellectual challenges in the form of a significant change to wards better understanding or behavioral change of learners.
